Backlink generation is not easy, but you can make it easier to generate one-way links if you have good content that your site visitors can share. You’re writing content, but no one’s linking to you. Are you doing something wrong? You probably are, and that’s okay. I’ve been there too. Sometimes your content is interesting, but they just do not want to spend too much time reading. Just like video catches attention, you can have content that is attention-grabbing that people can easily share.

Hi everyone, I am Neil Patel, and today I am going to share with you how to create content that generates a lot of backlinks. There’s a lot of amazing informational articles out there, from blog posts on marketing to yoga and to cooking. There is pretty much information on everything, and because of that, people aren’t really going to link to you. Yeah, the people have been doing this for five to ten years. They’re going to generate way more backlinks as they have been around for ages.

Go take your competitors’ URLs and put them in a trap. try to see who links to their most popular articles. Take the articles that are informational based on step-by-step such as lists of important things or how to’s and go create infographics from them. You can use tools like infogram, canva, or Microsoft PowerPoint, tools that are very easy to use so that you are able to create your own infographics. When you are using these tools, what will happen? You will be able to create your own fancy infographics and as you are creating the infographics using their own ideas and tips. Of course, you want to cite them at the bottom of the infographics saying like the data and source were provided by X Y & Z site. You may put your logo at the bottom as well. What you will find is that you can then target each and every single of those websites that link to your competitors and ask them for a link. If you do this for all of your competitors’ most popular blog posts, you will do really well and generate a tone of backlinks and get more rankings. For, that page on your website that has your brand new infographics, make sure you include a paragraph above it and a paragraph below it so that way you have text on the page. That will signal Google to rank it. What you want to do is to make sure your infographics are as beautiful as much as possible. If they look crapy or unprofessional, no one is going to embed it on their website. Do not use crazy neon colors or anything like that. It has to be simple. the story has to be easy to follow. It has to be more visual than text. As long as you follow these tips, you will do quite well and generate a lot of backlinks. What you will notice is that your infographics pages may not rank as high as you want, but your whole site will rank higher because you’ve just built up a ton of Domain Authority.
